Hello and a warm welcome to Mission Community Church, Helensburgh, Scotland.

My name is Peter J Gordon and I'm from Scotland. It came a deep burden of mine to have a physical church plant here in Helensburgh ~ Baile Eilidh in Gaelic ~ which is a burgh in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. to proclaim the true Gospel.

I have been trained to minister and preach through Cornhill Scotland.We are a Bible-believing body of believers in Christ whose passion is the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Word of God verse by verse with expository sermons.

My deep burden and concern in my ministry is recovering the true gospel of Jesus Christ and returning as a whole to the biblical mandate to endure sound doctrine. We are very excited about what God has called us to do planting this church in our local area. At the moment we are looking for premises.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Dress is casual and laid back. Our service begins at 10am, we are looking at these other times at different venues at 12pm and 7pm. Our Church service event will start with live worship which lasts something like 20 minutes with a time of prayer.

Following the worship, we like to greet one another and settle into our seats.  Announcements will be read out from the bulletin you received at the door, and we will have our time round the Lords Table in the morning services. (This will happen at a later date).

I will begin the teaching and preaching the sermon from the KJV version of the Bible which lasts something like 30 minutes. The service will conclude with a final worship song and offering.  As a visitor, we welcome you as our guest, so please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.
